Spice King Whisky Price

The picture at the right shows part of the Tullibardine distillery in Perthshire, Scotland. Acres of barley grow in this "Garden of Scotland", in fields fed by water Spice King softly flowing down from the hills. Will definitely be buying another bottle to stash for winter nights in the flask. Add in oak maturation, typically in first-fill former Bourbon casks, and you have a gentle, often fruity and sweet whisky which at its best acquires a refined, velvety character as it ages. Officially founded in 1823 by James Findlater, it is believed that illicit whisky production had been taking place at Mortlach for many years prior to the license being granted. The Scottish Isle of Islay, also referred to as Queen of the Hebrides, has 8 working whisky distilleries, stunning scenery, amazing wildlife, fabulous beaches and a lot more. I am big fan of islay single malts, but really, this one is not for. You get to sample as Spice King many whiskies as you want until you find the ones that make your taste buds go wild. Learning about bourbon while drinking it is like putting a sepia filter on a soft, mellow buzz. This whisky is like a favourite dessert, rhubarb crumble, stewed rhubarb, vanilla and all butter shortbread. With notes of sweet fruit, peat smoke and minerality, this is a benchmark Islay whisky and a great everyday peaty dram at this price. Similar to Black Label, but with a richer, more intense flavor, this is a masterpiece of blended Scotch. Palate : A little weightier on the palate, with honey and malt, banana bread and subtle sweet spices.
