Yay, It’s almost officially fall, my favorite time of year! The weather begins to cool, leaves start to change and pumpkins start appearing everywhere. It’s also the time of year that’s filled with fun celebrations and family get-togethers.
It’s so much fun to decorate for fall, especially the front entry. Outdoor fall decor is kinda like a little preview to what’s waiting inside.
I was looking for some inspiration and searched for outdoor fall decorating ideas for my entry and I thought I’d share them with you.
Pumpkins, pumpkins everwhere….Here are a couple of fall planter ideas. Love how they put the pumpkins in a topiary planter.

Find how to make this here.
Supplies needed to create these looks:
- Real or faux maple leaves
- Several real or faux pumpkins in different sizes (orange and cream)
- Two Brown chesapeake urns
or Granite poly urns
- Ribbon
These two fall flowerpot ideas are so cute, don’t think I’ve ever seen pumpkins used like this before. One of these would also be so pretty on the dining table.
Supplies needed to create these looks:
-
A few real pumpkins to carve out for vases
-
Orange and maroon flowers
-
Old looking rustic wheel barrow
-
Fall Colored Shiny Orange Berry Wired Garland
I really like the subdued colors in these, it’s more of a monotone color scheme. The pumpkins look almost golden in the second one. (maybe paint some in metallic colors?)

Supplies needed to create these looks:
-
Terracotta pots (assorted sizes)
-
Golden colored pumpkins and green pumpkins
-
Orange and yellow flowers
If you’re lucky enough to have these beautiful leaves in your garden (I’m not, in south florida we don’t get much of that) you can make these beautiful leaf wreaths and garlands.

Supplies needed to create these looks:
-
Lots of real or faux fall colored leaves
-
Ready made leaf garlands
-
Real or faux pumpkins
-
Metal tree sculpture
Here are some Halloween inspired entryways, those pumpkin lanterns are gorgeous and I just love the crows in the second photo.
Supplies needed to create these looks:
- Real or faux orange and cream pumpkins & gourds
- Two brown chesapeake urns
- A fall leaf garlands and fall leaf wreaths
- Wicker pumpkins
- Realistic black crows
- Luminary bags
I can’t wait to start decorating my entry!
