I saw this diy corner patio cabana project recently at one of the link parties that I join in on and thought it was such a great idea. As well as such an inviting space. It goes to show that you don’t need a huge backyard space to create an oasis for yourself.
Laura from Top This Top That came up with the idea to create her own small cabana where she could relax outside without having to burn in the hot sun.
Here’s the before photo, nice but not very inviting.
After. Very inviting nook she created!
All you need is a few materials that you can get at any hardware store and a little elbow grease. Then at the end of the day you can sit back and enjoy some quiet time in your peaceful space. Make sure to check out the tutorial for Laura’s Summer Cabana.
We don’t have that type of space in our patio but I can still dream. I envision myself sitting under the shade with the cool breeze blowing, a cold lemonade in hand and my favorite magazine. Now that’s the life!

Like seeing how to take a small space and turn it into something you can use…. especially if it’s to relax. Nice job
