It relaxes you there is a Zen like quality in losing yourself when gardening. You forget about everything around you and just focus on the task at hand. It also offers tranquility when you come home from a stressful day and you can just sit outside and take in all the beauty around you. It can also be good for the environment and your pocket-book. Growing a few fruits and vegetables or even just a few herbs organically/naturally will save you money at the supermarket and keep pesticides out of the soil.

Who’s behind Small garden Love?
I’m Jacky. I’ve had a love of gardening since I can remember and have always had small gardens. I’m an ex-architect (with a minor in landscape architecture) turned nurse.
I just married my best friend last year. I went DIY crazy for my wedding and didn’t realize why until after that I had been suppressing my creativity (nursing doesn’t involve any creativity at all).
So, I started this blog in order to set my creative side free and have loved every minute of it.
In our spare time, my husband and I love to be outdoors; gardening, hiking, visiting parks, botanical gardens and anything that involves nature. Taking pictures of everything in between.
I am the mother of two spoiled feline babies. I love all creatures big and small (except spiders) and they are welcome to our small garden any time.
